On October 10, 16 IB music students visited the ‘Music China’ Expo. They got to explore a wide variety of instruments from different cultures and sheet music from famous publishing houses. There, students also visited different educational workshops, industry forums and listened to live music shows. With the normalization and development of electronic music, students were able to witness and try out various cutting-edge devices, all to their hearts content. For some of the students, seeing how fast music developed in every angle, was indeed one of the highlights of the trip – aside from getting access to music scores normally not easily available in China. The Music Department hopes that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and plans to continue organising this much-awaited trip every year.
10月10日，协和古北音乐系精心策划了一场独特的音乐活动，引领16名IB音乐学生前往参观2024年中国（上海）国际乐器展览会。在此次展会中，学生们不仅目睹了来自多国乐器及不同出版商所提供的乐谱，还参与了多个富有教育意义的工作坊，并现场观赏了众多乐器的演奏与展示。
当前，电子音乐正日益崛起，展览会中，学生们亦有机会接触并尝试各类音乐电子设备。尤为值得一提的是，学生们得以见证乐器行业的快速发展，同时亦在此活动中购得了极为珍贵的乐谱资料。协和古北音乐系期望此次活动能为全体音乐专业学生留下深刻而难忘的记忆，并期待未来能有更多探索与学习的机会。
