SUIS Gubei advocates holistic education, and Herman Liu is an outstanding student nurtured under this philosophy. First introduced to golf at 4, he has long held the dream of becoming a PGA Tour professional. Bolstered by the school’s inclusive and diverse environment, he strikes a balance between academic studies and over 25 hours of weekly golf training. Currently, he is actively applying to major U.S. college golf teams, having established contact with—and garnered attention from—golf coaches of world-renowned universities. He is steadily advancing along his journey to fulfill his dream.

Beyond his personal success on the course, Herman wants more of his peers to experience the unique appeal of golf. Inspired by SUIS Gubei’s campus culture that encourages student initiative and sharing, he took the lead in launching the school’s first golf club and now serves as its president.
除了个人在赛场上的突破，刘瀚文更希望让更多同学感受高尔夫运动的魅力。在协和古北鼓励学生自主创新、乐于分享的校园氛围中，他主动发起并创立了学校首个高尔夫球社团。
In this role, he has been fully committed:
- Securing off-campus training venues to provide a professional practice platform for members
- Recruiting and inviting professional coaches to offer systematic guidance for their skill improvement
- Carefully organizing the club’s initial operations to create favorable conditions for active participation
Thanks to his dedicated efforts, golf is gradually taking root on the SUIS Gubei campus.

Herman’s growth is not limited to the golf course. He has a wide range of interests: he delves deep into biology and finance, expanding his knowledge through SUIS Gubei’s curricular sessions and ECA (Extended Curricular Activities);he also enjoys collecting cultural artifacts, which helps him foster patience and inner calm. From the golf course to the campus, and from academic exploration to hobby cultivation, he exemplifies the core SUIS Gubei qualities of focus and perseverance through his ability to turn passion into action.
刘瀚文的成长之路不止于高尔夫球场。他兴趣广泛，不仅对生物、金融学科抱有浓厚探索欲，在协和古北的课堂与ECA（课外拓展活动）中不断拓展知识边界；还热衷于文玩收藏，在品鉴与琢磨中沉淀心性。从赛场到校园，从学科探索到兴趣培养，他用行动展现了将热爱转化为行动力的能力，更诠释了协和古北学子专注与坚持的可贵品质。
