On May 23, 2026, the SUIS-GB U15 Boys Badminton team made history by becoming the first ever champions for the school in the SUIS-GB U15 Boys Badminton League D2. This prestigious league is organized by the Shanghai Sports School Association (SSSA), the governing body for school sports competitions across the city.
2026年5月23日，协和古北 U15男子羽毛球队创造校史，首度斩获 SSSA 联赛二级组别冠军。这项极具含金量的联赛由上海市学校体育协会（SSSA）主办，是上海全市校园体育赛事的权威组织机构。
The SSSA Badminton League is a season-long tournament in which all member schools of the SSSA participate. Each season is a challenging, month-long competition structured in multiple stages. It begins with a round-robin elimination phase, followed by a seeding round, then the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finally the championship round.
SSSA羽毛球联赛为跨赛季年度赛事，协会内各会员学校均参赛。每赛季赛事周期长达一个月、赛程赛制极具挑战性，分为多个阶段：率先进行循环淘汰赛，随后展开排位赛、八强赛、半决赛，最终角逐总冠军。

Despite being a relatively small squad compared to other schools, they never wavered in their commitment. Every practice session and every match fueled their determination to succeed.
相较其他参赛学校，我校参赛阵容人数并不占优，但队员们初心不改、信念坚定。每一次训练、每一场比拼，都不断淬炼着他们必胜的决心。
In addition to the team’s championship title, Jimmy Jiang from Grade (9QF) was declared the Most Valuable Player (MVP)-D2 of the year for his outstanding performance and leadership. Together, led by Captain Matt Lee, these six young athletes fulfilled their dreams and rose to the top, etching their names into SUIS-GB’s sporting history as pioneers and champions.
团队夺冠之外，来自9QF班的JIANG Jimmy同学凭借亮眼赛场表现与出色领导力，获评本届 SSSA二级联赛年度最有价值球员（MVP）。在队长 Matt Lee的带领下，六位少年圆梦登顶，作为开拓者与冠军，将自己的名字永久镌刻在协和古北的体育史册中。
